You're Already Doing the Most Effective Marketing Strategy, But Don't Know It

If you think about it, network marketing boils down to sharing a product with others—or to use the new catch-phrase, "word-of-mouth marketing." These days, when everyone is constantly bombarded with advertisements wherever they go, it is also one of the most effective forms of marketing too.

People Love to Talk

People have always talked about their experiences, emotions, needs and also products, services, and brands. We’re simply hardwired to connect with others and share. How many times have you tried a product, visited a certain restaurant, or used a particular business because someone you know recommended it?

You’re not alone. Studies show that the most influential element driving purchasing decisions is word-of-mouth—both on and offline. In the social media age, word-of-mouth can travel fast. The scale, speed and real-time nature of the social Web and the increased possibilities for people to share and express themselves play a crucial role in this.

So now more than ever, the statistics are proving that what is most effective in your business is to just open your mouth and share.

If you're like most people, you're already doing it.

Looking ahead to 2014: Great News for MLM

The end of a year often has people in business predicting what to expect in the year to come.  Consumers now have easy access to a ton of information, which has changed the way of doing business. And it’s a change that is great news for anyone involved in network marketing.

This new evolution in how consumers purchase goods and services probably won’t surprise most of us. Daniel Newman, in his article “TheNew Rules: Return on Trust” in the Millenial CEO, shares the example of someone shopping for a new car. That buyer will usually do a lot of research. They will enter a car dealership already knowing what they want, how much they expect to pay, and other information. They are an informed consumer before ever making a purchase.

Many of us have already shopped this way.

Newman talks about a study that showed the average consumer consulted more than 11 different sources prior to making a purchase decision. Where it gets interesting is that these days consumers don’t trust advertising. According to studies, there isn’t a single type of advertising that consumers trust greater than 50%, with many forms of advertising in the 20-30% range.

So what sources of information do people trust? The new consumer seeks to make purchase decisions through word of mouth and brand engagement. In fact, 90% of consumers trust a recommendation from their network.

If you didn’t perk up at that, then go back and read it again. 90% of those involved in this survey trust word of mouth and their personal connections the most when making buying decisions.

Well, network marketing companies have known about the power of personal connections for a long time. And now it looks like society is catching up to us. . So reach out to people, because they’re going to trust a real person over any paid advertisement.

Friday Q&A: Why Syntek Global?

This is a question that we get asked a lot: Why should someone go into business with Syntek Global and why network marketing?

1) We have a proven product based on a need, rather than a want, that will actually SAVE people money. XFT has a track record of effectiveness and we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

2) Syntek Global is dedicated to supporting our distributors and we have an unparalleled resource and support system. We give you the tools to succeed.  You can start your own business with minimal start-up costs—you don’t have to worry about distribution, inventory, or manufacturing or packaging. From the moment you begin professional marketing materials are available to you: brochures, documents, videos, etc.

3) We are not a get-rich-quick or pyramid scheme. (Pyramids pay out simply from recruiting—it has nothing to do with product. We sell product and people earn commissions from those sales.) This is a legitimate business, and like all businesses it takes time to get off the ground. We make it easier for you to take off, but you will usually have to give it some time to see the results you want.

Co-founder Curt Ence also goes into some more detail about why network marketing in the video below.
