Convention Recap: Making a Difference

Syntek Global is a company that believes in living without barriers. Our distributors throughout the world are already breaking through their barriers. But what if your barrier was to simply survive?

THE PROBLEM: LACK OF CLEAN WATER

*Nearly 1,884,000,000 people (1 in 8 people) worldwide do not have access to clean and safe water. 37% of those people live in Sub-Saharan Africa.
*Worldwide, 1 out of every 5 deaths of children under 5 is due to a water-related disease.
*Every 21 seconds, a child dies from a water-related illness.
*443 million school days are lost each year due to water-related diseases.
*3.4 million people die each year from a water-related disease. That is almost the population of Chicago and San Francisco combined!

For a billion people, there is either the lack of enough water or lack of access to safe water—and that barrier affects everything.
•    Time lost gathering water and suffering from water-borne diseases is limiting people's true potential.
•    Their futures are put in jeopardy as education and life itself is lost to sickness.
•    Economic development is lost while people merely try to survive.
•    Without clean water the possibility of breaking out of the cycle of poverty is incredibly hard.

THE SOLUTION: GIVE & LIVE

Syntek Global is proud to give back to our communities and the world through our Make a Difference program. We have partnered with Reach the Children, an organization that provides underprivileged children opportunities to become self-reliant by strengthening families and communities, to provide life-sustaining sources of clean water for underprivileged communities in Africa.

We can truly Make a Difference for people who desperately need it, by providing funds for three types of projects:

Clean water makes a HUGE difference.

  • Students can attend school when they don’t have to spend their time gathering water.
  • With Africa’s short rainy season and long dry season, irrigation is needed to grow crops. Access to water leads to food security, and with less crop loss, hunger is reduced.
  • Safe water equals clean hands, which equals healthy bodies.
  • Time lost to sickness is reduced and people can get back to the work of lifting themselves out of poverty.
Not only are we providing clean sources of water, but Reach the Children takes it one step further by helping communities set up irrigation systems. Additionally, farm management experts will coach farmers on irrigation, cash cropping, and marketing. We are going to teach them how to improve their own lives.

It's amazing how a relatively small investment can make such a dramatic difference in so many lives. According to the World Health Organization, for every $1 invested in water and sanitation, there is an economic return of up to $34 in those communities.

Syntek Global is already donating and we invite you to join us in our efforts. To participate, simply add a one-time donation to your Syntek Global order, or set up a recurring donation to give monthly with your AutoShip. If every distributor added a $10 Make a Difference donation to his/her orders, by the end of the year we could give a dozen communities and thousands of people access to clean water.

We can Make a Difference and remove this barrier to better health, a better education, and a better life for these African communities—and not only help those alive today, but all future generations.

Decide today to Make a Difference.

Success Story: Alhaji Subair Amuda Yusuf Strives to Bless Others on His Way to the Top

“I hope to be remembered as someone who impacts his society positively,” Alhaji Subair Amuda Yusuf proclaims. Through Syntek Global, he wants to assist as many people as possible in his society to achieve financial freedom, because many are living below $100 a month. And that drive to bless others has only grown stronger with his success.

Alhaji has a Bachelor’s degree in sociology from Ahmadu Bello Univeristy, Zaria, and an MBA from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. He worked for seventeen years in five different organizations before going into private business (borehole drilling) in 2009.

Alhaji was introduced to Syntek Global in February of this year. He had been looking for alternative sources of income, so jumped at the opportunity. “Since then, I have not regretted joining the Syntek Global Family,” he said. With less than a year in the business, Subair has traveled all over Nigeria, making new friends, breaking new ground, and improving his financial standing while regaining confidence.

Alhaji embraces the Syntek Global value of giving back to the community and making a difference. “Syntek Global has been a dream come true in which I have been able to take care of my needs and brought some people out of their hopelessness, despite lots of hurdles that I encountered in the course of this business.”

He thanks God for making it possible to touch a lot of lives through Syntek Global, and plans to work hard to get to the highest rank—and being a blessing to other people on the way.

Alhaji is a great example of the Syntek Global lifestyle and making a difference in his community! He has worked hard and we want to applaud him for his success. We are excited to be part of his life, and to assist him in touching the lives of countless others for good!

Syntek Employee Gives Back to Students at her Alma Mater

One of the core values at Syntek Global is giving back. Quennie Leduna, a Syntek Global Philippines employee, is making a difference in her community. She distributed over 140 backpacks to the Talave Elementary School in Negros Occidental, Philippines, where she attended as a child.

The students were very happy to receive the backpacks—as you can see by their smiles. The school faculty was also appreciative of the donations.  A new backpack may seem like a simple way to help, but it is a big thing to these children.

Way to go, Quennie! It’s just another example how the Syntek Global family continues
to Make a Difference!

Michelle Lucas Makes A Difference in the Philippines

Syntek Global Distributor Michelle Lucas is giving back to the community in a big way. She helped distribute 1000 donated Syntek Global backpacks to elementary school children in the poor area of Angono, Rizal, Philippines. Mayor Gerry Calderon then added school supplies to each backpack. The recipients were very poor children who cannot afford a pencil or a pair of slippers, but now have new backpacks and supplies to start school.

Way to go, Michelle! This is just another example of how Syntek Global distributors Make a Difference every day!
